Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson battling against—or teaming up with—Batman and Superman on the big screen? Who wouldn’t pay to see that?

Johnson has been making the media rounds while promoting his raunchy summer comedy Baywatch, and, while speaking with Fandango, the highest-paid actor in the world teased fans about when they might see his “anti-hero” Black Adam on the big screen—and that it might be a bit sooner than everyone thinks.

“It’s definitely going to happen, sure. We’ve had great conversations with Geoff Johns and everyone over at DC,” Johnson said. “It’s an exciting time right now for everyone at DC because they are in a process now where they are building out [their DC universe] really nicely. We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can’t reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced.”

Johnson took it a step further too after being asked about a potential battle with Superman: “One fine day—that’s coming. That’s in the cards,” Johnson said.

This is the first major update from Johnson since news broke in January 2017 that Black Adam wouldn’t just be appearing in a Shazam movie, as previously planned, but that he would be getting his own standalone film. (Our guess is that meeting between DC executives went like this: “Hey, so we have Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, biggest movie star in the world, starring as the sort of anti-hero and villain of this Shazam movie, why don’t we just make a movie starring him?”)

But that wasn’t all for Johnson regarding Black Adam. The star spoke with We Got This Covered and threw in a name to play Shazam (hint: He means Armie Hammer, co-star of The Man from U.N.C.L.E.)

“I’m going to throw out a name out there, and I want to see how the fans will react to it,” Johnson said. “A guy who I met, I went ‘Wow! That guy is such a cool guy! He is a lot bigger than I thought he would be.’ And when I walked away, I remember telling our producer, who I have worked with for a long time, we both looked at each other and were like ‘Possibly Shazam?!’ and we went ‘Yes!’ I’m not even going to say his name, I’m just going to say Lone Ranger.”

Johnson found some time to talk about another film franchise, this time one that may not have his involvement in the future. While speaking with CinemaBlend, Johnson spoke about the G.I. Joe franchise.

“We have talked with Paramount. They have a big writers’ room with Transformers. With G.I. Joe, too. But the world of G.I. Joe, what’s exciting about that is, it’s just an opportunity to build out,” Johnson said. “Now, we’ve made two G.I. Joes. What they can do is phenomenal, right? When you think about M.A.S.K., and you think about G.I. Joe Joe, and you think about the world that they can build out. I think, if they are interested in bringing Roadblock back, great, let’s talk about it. But I wish them the best of luck. I loved working in that movie and the franchise, and if I didn’t do it again, I’m great with them, and I wish them the best of luck. But I do hope they build it out really nicely, and I think they can.”

Johnson has plenty of projects to come before Black Adam or a potential G.I. Joe sequel. Johnson has Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle set for a Christmas 2017 release; he’s currently filming Rampage; a Big Trouble in Little China remake is rumored; while Skyscraper, a hostage-action-thriller, is also on his schedule for 2018.

Yeah, Johnson never sleeps.
