Number one-ranked golfer Rory McIlroy has bagged two majors this year and was recently crowned the Race to Dubai winner (the European Tourโ€™s equivalent of the Fedex Cup), yet he was still working up a sweat in the gym as he headed into last weekโ€™s DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

On his website, the Irish golfer outlines his philosophy on fitness, saying: โ€œI take my physical fitness and well-being very seriously. I can drive the ball further, my energy and concentration levels are improved and I feel like I have an extra edge when the pressure is on. A healthy body equals a healthy mind.โ€
