Momoa joined New Zealand native and UFC fighter Mark Hunt during a training session ahead of his June 10 fight against Derrick Lewis, jumping in with Auckland’s Ultimate Fighting Championship team to perform a motivational haka to support Hunt. A haka is a traditional New Zealand war cry/dance among the island’s native Māori people.
Momoa got to show off the ripped physique he sculpted for Aquaman while doing the dance. His buddy and trainer Mada, a former contestant on the WWE series Tough Enough, was there for the ride too:

Aquaman, directed by James Wan, will be released on Dec. 21, 2018.
