Windmill Switches

Windmill switches are a full-body movement that improves core strength and lower body power while also increasing cardiovascular endurance and stamina.

Instructions

  1. 662_A
    Stand with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart.
  2. Windmill Switches
    Jump and reach your left leg back into a split stance as you simultaneously bend over and reach for your right instep with your left hand, rotating your torso and point your right arm into the air.
  3. 662_C
    Jump into the air, switch legs and land with the left foot forward, reaching down with your right hand.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Be sure to jump wide enough to make the movement challenging.
  • Don't round your upper back as you reach for your instep.
  • Maintain a slight bend in your knees as your rotate your body.
