Lie on a flat bench holding a pair of dumbbells over your chest in an overhand grip with your arms extended.
Flare your elbows out to the side. Keeping the dumbbells in contact, turn them inward as they descend so your fists are pointing at each other at the bottom of the movement, with the dumbbells sitting on your chest.
Reverse the motion to extend your arms and return to the top position.

Keep the dumbbells in contact at all times when doing Tate presses.
