A lot happened on Monday Night Raw –– three ladies from NXT finally had their spotlight, creating one of the most memorable segments. Team Bella stepped out during Raw, exaggerating how Nikki has the competition in the bag. This was a perfect opportunity for Stephanie McMahon to set the scene, but there was no challenge among the two. Instead, each discussed how empowering women were — making a reference to the U.S. Women’s national soccer team. With that said, there needs to be change in the divas division.
McMahon had Paige step out followed by Becky Lynch and Charlotte from NXT — a surprise to pretty much everyone. As each group was eyeing each other, Naomi and Tamina came out — pissed off about NXT agitators possibly cutting them off. Each was praised by McMahon for fighting for their spot, and McMahon had one last surprise: Sasha Banks. Everyone’s jaw dropped, specifically Nikki who tried to leave the ring.
When it all went down, the women fought, and Team Bella was on the receiving end of a submission hold from the NXT women. The segment closed out with Paige, Charlotte, and Becky starring down Naomi, Tamina, and Sasha. In case you missed it, watch it here!
