Last night on Dancing With the Stars, UFC strawweight fighter Paige VanZant and her partner Mark Ballas danced another step closer to taking home the championship trophy. The pair hit the dance floor to perform a Viennese waltz. The Game of Thrones-esque performance wowed the judges who gave them a score of 28 out of the possible 30. VanZant and Ballas were later paired up with Sharna Burgess and NFL star Antonio Brown where the foursome danced a Paso Doble which scored a 29 out of 30. This allowed VanZant and Ballas to be declared safe from elimination guaranteeing them a spot on next week’s show. Due to her DWTS schedule, VanZant won’t be a part of the UFC’s big UFC 200 week. VanZant is now targeting a return to The Octagon in late August, according to MMAFighting.com.
