The dumbbell wrist curl is a basic resistance exercise that increases forearm and grip strength.
Instructions
Grab a pair of dumbbells with an underhand grip, or a short preloaded barbell. Sit on a bench and rest your elbows on your thighs. This is your starting position.
Lift your hands up by flexing your wrists, creating tension in your forearms. Hold and then return the weights to the starting position.

Allow the wrists to go through the full range of motion.
