After high school, Scherzinger continued her studies at Wright State University, where she received a scholarship to major in theater arts with a dance minor.
She got her first break in 1999, when she was hired by Days of the New band leader Travis Meeks to contribute vocals on the group’s self-tilted second studio album.
Scherzinger later dropped out of college to tour with the band, which she left in 2001 to pursue other musical opportunities.
