In a match that provided many surprises, none were bigger than the participation of basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal. Standing at over seven feet tall, Shaq made a valiant effort to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Unfortunately for him, the ring was littered with more experienced WWE superstars like The Big Show, Kane, DDP, and Baron Corbin. Still, as the rousing response would attest, it was great to see Shaq at WrestleMania 32.

In a bid to gain control of WWE, Shane McMahon took on his gravest challenge in the form of the Undertaker. As the “Dead Man” made his way to the ring it was clear that Shane would be in for a rough night.Defiant, Shane-O-Mac delivered some brutal offense, including leaping the entire length of the ring to kick a trash can into the face of his opponent. Just as it appeared that the boss’s son might actually win, he risked everything and lost. McMahon dived off the top of the cell but missed his target, allowing the Undertaker to raise his number of WrestleMania victories to a mind-boggling 23.

Still basking in the adulation of announcing a new attendance record, the Wyatt family tried to spoil the party for Dwayne Johnson. Someone should have told them – no one messes with The Rock’s positive vibe. More than one hundred thousand people cheered in astonishment as the chiseled “People’s Champion” took it to the Wyatt boys. There would be a further huge surprise…

For several weeks it has been common knowledge that John Cena would miss WrestleMania action due to shoulder surgery recovery. Common knowledge to everyone except Cena himself, it seems!As the Wyatt family appeared to be outnumbering The Rock, Super Cena would make a heroic return and even up the odds. John would mix it up with his foes before shaking hands with Hollywood’s biggest superstar. Seeing both these iconic WWE Superstars in the ring together made for an incredible scene.

Fans screamed in wonderment as Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin whooped the League. It’s official: WrestleMania 32 was watched by a live crowd of 101,763 people, making it the most attended WrestleMania of all time. Fans traveled from 35 countries and all 50 states to witness the biggest night in the sports entertainment calendar. They wouldn’t leave disappointed. Making his 20th WrestleMania appearance, “The Game” looked leaner than ever as he dominated early in his match with Roman Reigns. Appearing ripped, the April 2016 M&F cover star looked every bit the champion. Despite a great reception from the masses, and devious tactics employed by his other half, Stephanie, this just wasn’t to be a successful title defense for the “King of kings”. During the throws of battle, Roman sent Stephanie flying with a thunderous spear, before besting Triple H en route to becoming the new WWE Champion.
