With scenes including cars being dropped out of planes, cars being driven through two separate skyscrapers and epic hand-to-hand fights, it’s now wonder why Fast &Furious has brought on some of the most action-packed movie experiences in recent memory. Starring in his third “Fast and Furious” film, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returns as U.S. Diplomatic Security Service Luke Hobbs to take down the brother of British Special Forces officer Owen Shaw from Fast & Furious 6, Deckhard Shaw (Jason Statham.) If you thought his fight scenes against co-star Vin Diesel were awesome, we’re in for a treat when he squares up against Statham in Furious 7.

The leader of the street racing crew-turned-international megastar family, Dominick Toretto (Diesel) will try and find Shaw since he was responsible for killing fellow crew member Han. Diesel, with his arms popping from his sleeves, recently teased on Jimmy Kimmel Live that a future Furious film will take place in New York, so we’re sure to see more of the larger than life franchise.

Making his second appearance in the franchise, Jason Statham portrays one of the villains in Furious 7, after making a brief cameo at the end of Fast & Furious 6. Statham is well-versed in martial arts and spent 12 years on Britain’s National Diving Squad, making him a legitimate threat to anyone on and off screen.Check out Statham’s total body workout in the April issue of M&F available on newsstands now!

Since debuting as Walker’s friend in 2 Fast 2 Furious, Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) has been a critical part of the crew’s success by coming through in the clutch throughout elaborate jobs. Gibson plays the muscled up funnyman in the franchise and we’re sure he’ll have plenty to say in Furious 7.

Another villain in Furious 7 is Djimon Hounsou, who stars as a Jakande, a Somali terrorist mastermind responsible for the kidnapping of hacker Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel.) He’s in a race against mysterious government agent Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) to acquire a computer program that can do some serious damage. We’re excited to see how ruthless Hounsou gets in this film.

It’s safe to say we love UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. The athlete and actress was on the cover of our July/August 2014 issue and the “Sports” athlete in the November 2014 issue. In Furious 7, Rousey stars as Kara and takes on Michelle Rodriguez in a must-see girl fight.

Martial artist, actor and celebrity Tony Jaa, of Ong-Bak fame, plays Kiet in Furious 7, and in a highly anticipated scene, trades blows with Paul Walker. The film will be released in his homeland of Thailand, boosting its international appeal.
