Dewan Tatum got her start in the industry as a backup dancer for the likes of Janet Jackson and Ricky Martin, according to IMDb. Her breakout role came in 2006, though, when she played the female lead in Step Up alongside her now-husband Channing Tatum.
Dewan Tatum is currently a host and mentor on the show World of Dance, which premiered earlier this year and brought her back to her dancing roots.
